Working meeting with the head of the Mine Action Center, Colonel Yevhenii Biryukov, and representatives of mine action operators

In order to increase the effectiveness of demining (clearing) indicators, a meeting was held on August 9, 2024 under the chairmanship of the head of the secretariat of the National Authority for Mine Action, Colonel Ruslan Bereghuli. A working meeting was held with the head of the Mine Action Center, Colonel Yevhenii Biryukov, and representatives of mine action operators.

During the meeting, problematic issues affecting the operational activities of mine action operators and proposals for improving approaches to the implementation of humanitarian demining activities were discussed.

Based on the results of the meeting, in the course of joint work, appropriate solutions will be prepared that will help more effectively achieve the goals of the National Mine Action Strategy for 2024-2033 and free the territory of Ukraine from explosive remnants of Russian aggression.
